And Now We Are 4!

On June 17, 2011, we welcomed June Renee Sutton to our family.
But let's back up a little bit first...

2010 and 2011
Since my last post, Finn turned 2...and then 3.  We did some fun things, though we weren't great about taking pictures and even worse about getting them posted or printed up.  Ah the digital age, 7000 pictures no one will ever see.  So here are some selected highlights quickly.
Finn and I took a road trip in November 2010 to go and see Aunt Lisa and Uncle Richard in San Jose.

We went to the beach.

We did a little snow shoeing - and Finn and Alex got the camp robber's (bird) to land on their hands.

We had some Christmas.

We went to a pool birthday party.

We got to go to Mexico with Alex's Grandpa in February 2011.

I got bigger.

The men cut down some big branches in the backyard.

Finn played with Cousin Green.

And then it was June, 2011 and things changed in a big way.   On Friday morning, June 17, our new addition was born.

June Renee Sutton was born at 8:50 a.m.  She weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz. and was 19 inches long.  She was named after my maternal grandmother June Schellberg.  She also has my middle name.

Finn has been a very proud and gentle big brother since the beginning.

Finn loves to hold his baby sister.

We still had time to play in the back yard.  Finn loves the airplanes from Grandpa Howard!

A pouty sleeper.

My kids.

Proud big brother.

Erin came to visit.  We went to the Children's Museum and got to ride the MAX!

After a lot of rainy summer days, we had a beautiful one - perfect for some family photos.

At the end of August we drove out to the coast to camp with Aunt Mary and Aunt Ginny for one night at Fort Stevens.  We all had a great time!

Finn is reading to Baby June

And of course the summer isn't all about the new baby...Nana got Finn his new big boy bike!

2009

In 2009, I was bested by blogspot. So here is to 2010 and a better year of pictures and blog posts! Here is a quick update from the year.
We did a lot of camping with friends and family.

We played in the (FINALLY) warm summer sun and fun backyard.

Finn and I went to the Zoo when my friend Erin came to visit.

Finn had a great time eating tomatos right off the vine.  He was always sneaking back there for a little snack.

We did some more camping with what has become an annual summer trip with Julie's side of the family.  We had a great time, though it was a little cold for this heat lover!
Pretty sunsets.

Alex, my dad, and Rich, Lisa's husband, all grew hops this year.  It was really pretty but a lot of work for the people drying and packaging (a.k.a. Gary and Denise Goss).  There was a total of 100 oz of dried hops.  Lots of beer making for 2010!
Finn ate some popsicles in the sun.
And his love for blueberries is impressive.

Finn spent some time acting silly and playing with friends.
